Here at La Crèmerie we are passionate about cheese and making sure that the cheese you eat is the best it can possibly be. To that end, we have set our chief cheese taster, Emma Dandy, a mission to help spread the word that really great artisan cheese is so much better than vac-packed blocks of supermarket mild cheddar. We specialise in cheese from the British Isles - England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland - and like to share our passion for these delicious cheeses which are setting the global standard for excellent artisan produce. Many of the cheeses we stock are taken to blind tasting competitions and put up against Continental rivals and we are delighted to say that the cheeses from the British Isles are often the winners!
Emma, who was awarded the United Kingdom Cheese Guild's Diploma with Distinction, runs tasting events giving guests the opportunity to try a whole range of delicious cheeses while explaining how cheese is made and why artisan cheese is a very different product to the mass produced cheeses.
